Art therapy at WLAC is guided by a grounded art therapist, social worker, and holistic counsellor with over 30 years of experience in the visual arts. Jeudi brings warmth, encouragement, compassion, and a deep understanding of trauma-informed care, helping participants feel safe, supported, and creatively empowered.

Our art therapy program offers more than just art—it’s about empowerment, self-discovery, and healing in a supportive community setting.

Art therapy is a gentle, non-confrontational approach that uses creative activities like drawing, painting, sculpting, and collage-making to help individuals express themselves, manage stress, and build emotional resilience,

At WLAC, we understand that not all healing happens through words. That’s why we offer Art Therapy as pathway to emotional wellbeing—especially for those living with disabilities, and those navigating complex grief, mental health issues, trauma, or social isolation.
